Create an antique photograph
effect
- On the workspace or in the picture
list, select the objects or grouped
objects you want to modify.
- Convert the object to
grayscale.
- On the Color menu, click Colorize.
- In the Color workpane, click the arrow button next to the color box,
and then click More Colors.
- On the True Color tab, choose brown sepia (Red 90, Green 35, Blue
1), and then click OK.
- In the Color workpane, set Amount at 40.
- In the Effect list, click Hue and Saturation.
- Set Saturation at 40 and Brightness at 0.
- On the Effects menu, click Designer Effects.
- In the gallery, click Film Grain.
- At the top of the workpane, click Settings (Film Grain), and then
enter these values:
- Transparency: 0%
- Grain: 4
- Highlight area: 0
- Highlight intensity: 3
Tip After you complete your picture, you can create a cutout from the finished version to
enhance its antique appearance.
