Create an antique photograph effect

  1. On the workspace or in the picture list, select the objects or grouped objects you want to modify.

  2. Convert the object to grayscale.

  3. On the Color menu, click Colorize.

  4. In the Color workpane, click the arrow button next to the color box, and then click More Colors.

  5. On the True Color tab, choose brown sepia (Red 90, Green 35, Blue 1), and then click OK.

  6. In the Color workpane, set Amount at 40.

  7. In the Effect list, click Hue and Saturation.

  8. Set Saturation at 40 and Brightness at 0.

  9. On the Effects menu, click Designer Effects.

  10. In the gallery, click Film Grain.

  11. At the top of the workpane, click Settings (Film Grain), and then enter these values:

Tip   After you complete your picture, you can create a cutout from the finished version to enhance its antique appearance.
